Day 3, chickadee and bunny tail grass. Need I say more? Thank you #botanimals challenge! #procreate #chickadee #grass #creativechallenge #artchallenge #botanimal #botanimalsinktober #mashup #ilovebirds

Tiny doodles in a tiny sketchbook. Micron pens keeping me busy. #micronpen #doodlesofinstagram #doodlingisfun #tinysketchbook #detailedart #curvylines

Day 2 of #botanimals challenge! This one is a mashup between a pudu and a rose. I didn’t know what a pudu was, turns out it is a very cute small deer. I’m enjoying using procreate for these drawing challenges. #day2 #botanimal #botanimalsinktober #pudu #rose #rosepetals #flowerhead #cutedeer #procreateart

I’m still getting the hang of Procreate, so I see this month of October as a great time to practice with it as I do the Botanimals October drawing prompt list. This is a mashup between a lynx and the plant “sweet gum” which has these spiky seedpods. Fun fun! #procreate #botanimals #botanimalsinktober #drawtober2020 #lynx #sweetgum #mashup #firstdrawingofthemonth

Continuation of the humpback whale watercolor + sharpie art piece. Byebye Nudibranch challenge, it’s been fun! October is here which means there are a bunch of drawing prompt lists to choose from. I’m going to try to do a few #botanimals , for besides animals, I love to draw plants and flowers too. It’ll be fun to mix and match plants and animals as a drawing challenge. #humpbackwhale #watercolors #sharpiepens #detailedart #splash #oceananimals #whale #whaleart ...

Those blue spots aren’t actually eyes and those shadows down there aren’t actually it’s mouth, but man! This #nudibranch looks so darn #cute and #happy. I wanted to play with a circular frame to switch things up a bit. Almost done with #30daysofnudes ! #30daysof #30daychallenge2020 #30daysofnudibranches #30dayartchallenge #circularframe #sharpiepens #sharpiedrawing #primarycolors #seaslug #seaslugs #nudi #nudibranches #nudibranch

You know when Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes looks down at his green #gloppy food and then it becomes alive and crawls off his plate? I can’t help but think of that when I look at this #bizarre #nudibranch . It’s a #strange #bumpy #ugly #beautiful #seaslug. My apologies for skipping a day. I took a day off to enjoy friendship and a beautiful sunset. This #nudi comes with a quote from John Steinbeck. #30daysof #30daychallenge2020 #30daysofnudibranches #30dayartchallenge #30daysofnudes #watercolors #sharpiepens #johnsteinbeck #johnsteinbeckquote #proud #graceful #spanishdancer

A more muted color pallette today, I chose soft pastels for this one to give it a somewhat #translucent, somewhat #ethereal look. Only a handful more to go until the end of the month! Thanks to those following #30daysofnudes ! #softpastels #nudibranches #nudi #nudibranch #seaslug #seaslugs #30daysof #30daychallenge2020 #30daysofnudibranches #30dayartchallenge

Find the #nudibranch! How #bizarre these creatures become when zoomed in and cropped. I wanted to see what this one would look like in a #camouflaged environment. #Nudibranches in the real world seem to have no need for camouflage. Their bright colors stick out like crazy! I used an orange #highlighter in this one, makes it #pop ! #30daysof #30daychallenge2020 #30daysofnudibranches #30dayartchallenge #30daysofnudes #seaslug #seaslugs #watercolormarkers #mixedmedia #cropped #brightcolors
