More catch-up. Here is the wise old elephant with the most beautiful flower a tree can have, the magnolia. #botanimals #botanimal #magnolia #elephant #africanelephant #mashup #micronpen #inktober #flower #wisecreature #skinnylines #tusks
I’ve been looking forward to wombat and sweet peas since I first saw the list, for wombats are adorable and sweet peas have interesting flowers and vines that entangle around everything. I wanted to convey the entanglement that pea plants get themselves into. It’s the first mashup with flowers that I’ve done in this new black and white style. What do you think of the combination of sharpie pen and micron pen? ...
Catching up on some missed days. Here’s the bactrian camel and kumquat combo. It’s funny how much this one reminds me of the tortoise and gooseberry artpiece. Not just because it’s orange berries and small green leaves, but also just the expression of the animal… This camel and the tortoise could be close friends, I think. #botanimals #botanimal #camel #camelart #kumquat #mashup #grayscale #inkdrawing #inktober #finetippens #leaves #citrus #bactriancamel
I love #hawks for their dramatic big wings and ferocious talons. The #mashup today is that of a #northernharrierhawk and #englishivy . Maybe you can see other pencilled #animals drawn around the hawk, I’ve attempted to puzzle piece all the remaining #botanimals onto 1 big page. Every day one animal gets #inked ! #inktober #botanimal #hawk #ivy #detaileddrawing #micronpen #blackandwhite #ferocious #majestic #bigwings
#botanimals are back! This time in a very different style, much more in line with #inktober . #day12 brings us a #mashup of #direwolf and #swordfern . I’ve been a fan of #wolves since I was a child, so drawing this one brought a lot of joy. Ferns make me think of my parents and nature walks, which is also a lovely association to have while drawing. #botanimal #sharpiedrawing #sharpiepen #blackandwhite #ferns #wolf # ...
Oh no, I missed #octopusday ! Here is my octopus, a day late… #octopus #pointillism #sharpiepens #octopusart #colorfuloctopus
I was inspired yet again by the youtuber Peter Draws to try out this watercolor + doodle combo. I recommend checking out his video “Skinless Beast” and you’ll probably get inspired too! This was a lot of fun to make and it feels good to be doodling all day. There’s a lot of evolution in how I’m doodling, if you compare my latest doodles to the first few. #watercolorandsharpie #colordoodle #watercolordoodle #watercolors #sharpieart #abstractart #whatdoyousee #imaginationrunswild #detaileddrawing #rainbowcolors #thatwasfun ...
Drawing prompts are fun, but it’s not entirely what I’m about. I’m here to establish a brand, something that’s clearly Nebulous Tang. So I went back to my doodling roots today and used the post-it technique to doodle so much my hand now hurts. #doodleadventures #postitart #finetippens #micronpen #finedetail #myhandhurtsfromdrawing #detaileddrawing #entanglement
My favorite #botanimals mashup thus far, day 5 brings us tortoise and gooseberry! #procreate #botanimal #tortoise #gooseberry #mashup #coolturtle #artismylife #octoberdrawingchallenge
Okay, I admit I became overeager with all the fancy procreate brushes with this one. Iâll tone it down with the next one. Day 3 of #botanimals challenge mashes together a moth and the flower pansy. #pansy #procreate #botanimal #butterfly #moth #mashup #procreatebrushes #octoberdrawingchallenge
